Math Exhibition數(shù)學(xué)展 

Volume of Solids. - How to use integration to find out the volume of solids. The solids are generated from known cross sections perpendicular to base of any shape enclosed by given functions, or solids of revolution as any shape enclosed by given functions rotate across any axis. By visualizing those solids, students will have a solid understanding about Riemann Sum and the big idea about integration.

Students arrive in Bordeaux for instructions, move on to Toulouse for a game of Twister, zoom down to Marseille to best each other at Pétanque, climb to Lyon to challenge the master of French pronunciation, then it's a hard push up, across the Alps to Strasbourg's symbols of France activity and finally, crossing the Finish Line in beautiful Paris, students can enjoy a well deserved crêpe.Where: Bench near the track.
What: Be ready to go on a treasure hunt around the school using the French language.
Who: Alone or in groups (4 max per group).
學(xué)生們先到達(dá)“波爾多”找到活動(dòng)說(shuō)明，根據(jù)說(shuō)明前往“圖盧茲”玩扭扭樂(lè)游戲，然后到“馬賽”在法式滾球比賽中對(duì)壘，再爬到“里昂”挑戰(zhàn)法語(yǔ)發(fā)音大師，在艱難的俯臥撐之后，穿越“阿爾卑斯山”到達(dá)象征法國(guó)活動(dòng)的“斯特拉斯堡”，最后，在美麗的“巴黎”越過(guò)終點(diǎn)線后，學(xué)生們品嘗到了老師們精心準(zhǔn)備的薄餅。
Business Fair商業(yè)博覽會(huì)

The event is a good opportunity for RDF Young Entrepreneurs to showcase their learning and business ideas. They will synthesize all their learning and bring together the skills they have developed in Business Fundamentals. Students will brainstorm in groups ideas for a product or a service and develop a business plan, covering; an Executive Summary, Business Description, Market and Industry Analysis, Sales and Marketing and Management.
Students will also prepare a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) addressing the information above. The PPT can be delivered at the event to anyone interested in investing and they will have a trifold display of their journeys in creating their product or service; from the initial idea to the end product or service. Students will also have a prototype of their product to showcase at the Business Fair.

Art Exhibition & Live Fashion Shoot
藝術(shù)展和現(xiàn)場(chǎng)時(shí)尚拍攝

Artwork from students in all grades will be arranged on the first floor of B building. Painting, drawings and sculpture from the art classes will all be on display.
At the same time Paris and Steve will host, with students, a professional fashion shoot from the very beginnings (fabrics to fashion). This will involve working with a model and styling them, doing make-up, and the photography. Possibly even garment construction if you are lucky enough to see. While they work, have your portrait taken by students. Come, have a laugh, come have fun and get lost in the world of art.
各年級(jí)學(xué)生的藝術(shù)作品安排在B棟一樓展示，包含藝術(shù)課的繪畫(huà)、素描和雕塑等。在展會(huì)上，Paris老師和Steve校長(zhǎng)與學(xué)生們一同主持這場(chǎng)專業(yè)的時(shí)裝拍攝（從面料到時(shí)裝）、走秀以及化妝造型的盛宴。您甚至能一睹展示服裝精巧的制作過(guò)程。同時(shí)，負(fù)責(zé)這一項(xiàng)目的學(xué)生會(huì)為大家拍照留影。在這里，您可以盡情釋放，沉浸在藝術(shù)的世界里。

科學(xué)展覽和演講

The Science part of the Kaleidoscope includes the exhibition of students’ knowledge and skills achieved in learning Science through investigations on a variety of topics of interest from different Science classes. In addition to the usual exhibition, a Science Forum of students will be held under the big theme of the “Earth Day”. 
We truly hope our exhibitions can arouse the interest of the students in learning science and more over, to apply what they learned in their science classes to make the world a better place for all of us.
科學(xué)部分包括通過(guò)對(duì)不同科學(xué)課程的各種感興趣主題的調(diào)查，展示學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)科學(xué)方面所獲得的知識(shí)和技能。除常規(guī)展覽外，還舉辦了以“地球日”為主題的學(xué)生科學(xué)論壇。

Spartan Race斯巴達(dá)勇士賽

Our Spartan Race for the PE Kaleidoscope will consist in a set of obstacles, displayed on the track and on the courts, to be completed by the students (and any teacher willing to try) in the shortest time possible.
Participants will need strength (to carry weights during the competition), endurance (to be able to finish the race), flexibility (in order to overcome some of the obstacles) and speed (to finish as soon as possible and try to get a medal).
Obstacles will include crawling, climbing, weight lifting and carrying, monkey bars, jumping boxes, etc.

History Museum & Economics Disaster Museum
歷史博物館和經(jīng)濟(jì)災(zāi)難博物館

The students are working in pairs and can choose a civilization of their choice. Students will create a museum exhibit about their civilization. They will write one paragraph about the following topics from the civilization (for a total of 8 paragraphs) Economics, Women, Political, Military, Religious, Art, Social, and Technology. The information will go on a display board, along with citations. They will also create an artifact along with one paragraph describing the artifact.
學(xué)生們兩人一組，自行選擇以某一歷史文明為主題，并制作一個(gè)關(guān)于該文明的博物館展覽項(xiàng)目。他們從經(jīng)濟(jì)、婦女、政治、軍事、宗教、藝術(shù)、社會(huì)和技術(shù)這8個(gè)方面介紹相關(guān)的歷史文明。展示板上包含引文和以上八個(gè)方面的信息，除此之外，他們還針對(duì)特定歷史文明主題創(chuàng)建了一個(gè)文物并為其配文描述。
