持有視覺藝術(shù)教師資格證。擁有超過20年的教師經(jīng)驗(yàn)。曾任南非林波波省教育部高級(jí)教育專員,并擔(dān)任生存技能、美術(shù)文化和視覺藝術(shù)課程顧問。他擁有文學(xué)與哲學(xué)的博士學(xué)位,美術(shù)碩士和學(xué)士學(xué)位,及教師文憑。他教授視覺藝術(shù)和ESL中學(xué)課程,并基于他在曼德拉都市大學(xué)的12年講課經(jīng)驗(yàn),為ESL學(xué)習(xí)者開發(fā)銜接課程。除了是一位老師外,他也是一位畫家和壁畫家,是數(shù)個(gè)國際壁畫組織的活躍成員,曾在墨西哥、阿根廷和南非畫壁畫。他曾在當(dāng)?shù)睾蛧H上舉辦過多次個(gè)人畫展或與其他畫家一起舉行聯(lián)展。這些經(jīng)歷都是他職業(yè)發(fā)展和講課風(fēng)格里必不可少的一部分。同時(shí),豐富的經(jīng)歷也幫助他的學(xué)生以國際視野去思考問題,為他們提供了不少參展和比賽機(jī)會(huì)。他的學(xué)生大多取得佳績(jī)。他的教育理念是以學(xué)生為中心,鼓勵(lì)他們成為學(xué)習(xí)的積極參與者。他與他的同事和學(xué)生都保持良好的關(guān)系,但同時(shí)也遵守作為一名教師的職業(yè)道德。對(duì)于他來講,承擔(dān)起促進(jìn)學(xué)生的學(xué)業(yè)進(jìn)步和個(gè)人發(fā)展的責(zé)任,幫助他們成為全面發(fā)展和對(duì)國際社會(huì)有責(zé)任感的公民,是很重要的。瑞得福最受學(xué)生喜愛的老師之一。他非常享受與同學(xué)們共同創(chuàng)作和探討藝術(shù)的時(shí)光,介紹同學(xué)們的作品時(shí)滔滔不絕,驕傲之情常常溢于言表。Mr. Andrew Nhlangwini is a certified Visual Arts teacher and has over 20 years teaching experience. He worked as a Senior Education Specialist in the Department of Education in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, serving as curriculum advisor in Life Skills, Arts and Culture and Visual Arts. Mr. Nhlangwini is a Doctor of literature et Philosophy,he also has a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, as well as a Teaching Diploma. He has taught Visual Arts as well as ESL at middle school level and developed a curriculum for the ESL speakers bridging course during his 12 years lecturing experience at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He has also been an active member of numerous international muralist groups globally. Mr. Nhlangwini is a painter and a muralist. He has painted murals in Mexico, Argentina, and South Africa. He have exhibited solo and group exhibition locally and internationally. These experiences are integral in his professional growth and the techniques incorporated into his teaching. This has helped him to teach his students to have a global outlook, resulting in his students often obtaining awards in Art exhibitions and competitions. His approach is student-centered, thus enabling students to be active participants in their learning. He has a good rapport with his colleagues and students, yet retaining a professional work ethic. It is important for him to accept responsibility for the academic and personal growth of his students, so as to ensure their growth into responsible and well-balanced individuals in a global society.
